» Perform Medilink Database Full Maintenance

 

Important | Ensure all Users have closed Medilink


On the Server where the Medilink Database is installed:

 

» Open the Medilink Legacy Utilities

 

» Select Users Utility


» Select Clear All

 

» Close Users Utility


» In the Windows Run dialog type: fsmgmt.msc and click OK


» Select Open Files


» Use Ctrl+C and select Medilink attributed file paths


» Right click and select Close


» Close fsmgmt.msc


» Select Lock and Net File Cleanup

 

» Select all three check-boxes

 

» Select Search and Remove

 

» Wait for the process to finish

 

» Close Lock and Net File Cleanup


Important | Ensure the Backup Data process is completed at this stage


» Select Backup Data


» The backup process will start and close at completion


Warning | The Table and Information Rebuild process can be destructive - ensure the Backup Data process is completed before running this application


» Select Table and Information Rebuild


» The rebuild process will start and close at completion


Test Medilink on Workstations.


If Medilink exhibits any errors:


Raise ticket with Medilink Helpdesk.
