A client notified us of a problem where some of their receipt descriptions were incorrect in the copies/history or where printing the receipt.

Sometimes this can happen if a transaction was done with that id, but through various other utilities that transaction has now been removed  - however, the description remained - and now the transaction id is reused by the receipt.

There is a utility which will check descriptions and if the transactions don't exist, or if they are for completely different item numbers, will remove the description.

1. Download: https://www.medilink.com.au/FixDescriptions.zip

2. Unzip to a folder, ideally c:\medilink32bnt\Utilities\FixDescriptions

3. Backup your data, (especially Description.DB).

4. Run RestoreMissingMobiles.EXE and wait for it to finish.
