Waiting List

Waiting List is an area of Medilink where you can put patients who are waiting to be allocated appointment slots.

You add a patient and various details to the waiting list. Then when an appointment slot opens up, you highlight the slot, click Waiting List, click the patient in the list, and click Appointment, and it will make an appointment for that patient and remove them from the list.

Waiting Room

Waiting Room is another feature along similar lines to the waiting list, although it's simpler and is more designed for GPs with patients physically sitting in the waiting room.

You add a patient to the list and when it's their turn you double click or click In Service and it will automatically add them to the current time slot for the selected provider.
