We have identified some users with an issue printing Crystal Reports post the Microsoft Windows 10 Fall Creators Update.

This may result in an error message:

"This application was unable to open the report. Please ensure that you have a default printer installed."

Medilink may also hang or crash at this point.

You may also have issues exporting Crystal Reports.

Unfortunately the problem lies within the third party Crystal Reports code, and the Windows OS itself, and we are unable to resolve it.

Fortunately there is a workaround. Go in to File Menu -> General Options and turn on Use Quick Report Print/Export.
