In April 2019 the Australian Government introduced standardised levels to the health fund system. Health fund policies must provide a certain level of cover to qualify for each category, thereby making the system easier for patients to compare like for like and therefore more competitive.
For healthcare providers, knowing what level of funding a patient is at can help ensure their eligibility for certain specialities. Unfortunately the (current) ECLIPSE PVF system doesn't cover off this requirement, so you need to record this manually per patient.
This feature was added in the 2019 R1 version of Medilink.
The Edit Patient and PVF screens both have the ability to modify the health fund level of a patient.
The main Accounting screen will now display the levels as follows:
