In early versions of Medilink 2022 R1 there was a bug where if claiming done where the patient/claimant had supplied bank details and the BSB had a leading zero, then the claim would error with a 9202 error.
We have since fixed this issue.
However, our advice is to *never* collect these details. Instead you should tick on the Pay via Medicare Details 100% of the time.
Even if the patient or claimant do not have bank details registered, Medicare will reach out to them to get them from the patient directly. It's much safer for them to do that than you typing them in and having the old or wrong details etc.
We only really keep it there because it's a legacy option.
