In mid 2024 Microsoft have released their latest Surface Pro (11th Edition) Tablet PC which runs Windows on an Arm chip (Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite processor).
Arm chips have some unique advantages vs existing x86/x64, such as lower power usage (and therefore longer battery life).
We believe Windows on Arm technology will become more mainstream in the near future.
We have been testing Medilink on this environment and are confident that it works well.
Most other apps you’re familiar with should also work (but there are some exceptions).
However, we have found that many drivers (particularly TWAIN scanners) are not available or do not work. We’re working on alternatives to TWAIN (WIA).
