To access a patients Allergies in DHR, first select the Details button.

Click the Allergies button.

A list of the patient's current allergies will now be displayed.

Select Add to add an allergy. 

The Drug, Class and Product lists are pre-populated with data from MIMS. 

If MIMS is not installed, or you would like to add an allergy not provided in any of the lists, select Non-Drug to add an allergy using free-test e.g. 'Honey' or 'Bee Sting'.

Allergies are also displayed in the top portion of the DHR window throughout all sections of DHR.

With MIMS installed, allergies are checked with prescribing drugs for any interactions and any applicable warning are displayed.
