AutoText is a new feature added in to Medilink DHR (Clinical) in Sept 2023.
You can create keywords that when typed will be automatically converted in to the replacement text specified.
Setup
Tools Menu -> Consult Notes AutoText
Type the keywords and replacement text.
Add extra lines as needed.
To delete a line, remove the keyword.
Click OK to save changes or cancel.
Tip: Consider prefixing your keywords to avoid accidental usage of them, for example, prefixing them with X or Z.
Usage
When typing clinical notes, type the full keyword (case-sensitive) and it will be replaced with the text specified:
Note: standard/addendum consult notes can have keywords typed anywhere in the text areas and will be replaced. However, as at time of writing, custom HTML consult note templates must have the keyword typed at the end of a text area field in order for it to count.
